Many people have heard of the Jalon Valley, located just inland from the well known coastal towns of Javea/Denia and Calpe. At the very top of the Jalon Valley is the village of Castell de Castells, from Castells you pass over into the Valle de Ceta, where you will find the villages of Famorca, Facheca and Benimassot amongst others. Moving on we have Benissau and the Valle de Guadalest with Alcolecha which is just 43kms inland from Benidorm.

These villages have basic everyday facilities that one needs, the local village shop come hairdressers and doctors that visit regularly.

For hypermarkets and larger stores you have Concentaina and Alcoy a short distance away - 25/30 kms.

These villages are situated approximately midway between Alicante and Valencia taking approximately one and half hours to reach their respective airports.

Alcoy is a large textile city which has a population of some 70,000 and of course has the main hospitals and colleges for the area although there are village schools for younger children.

Castell de Castells is at the very top of the well known Jalon Valley, Castells still maintains its Spanish character, this delightful community spirited village has all the modern services such as doctors, chemist, shops, hairdressers, home for the elderly, and many many activities for the village people. Plus an incredible brass band and music school. And yet just 30 minutes from the local coastline.
